Rolling Laptop Backpack

Get moving with A cool and stylish rolling laptop backpack!

Rolling Laptop Backpack

The rolling laptop backpack is perfect for the mobile worker who is really on the go! Some people take their laptops on leisurely walks through the woods or on drives through the city. However, there are those people who are literally zipping from one place to another. These are the people who seem to be moving in fast forward, dashing through airports and city streets. The rolling backpack was created specifically with these people in mind!

High Rollers

The invention of rolling luggage was a Godsend gift for millions of travelers around the world. It's not easy trying to catch a plane when you are trying to drag a large suitcase along with you. With rolling luggage, people could literally glide from one place to another. You didn't have to worry about not being able to carry a heavy suitcase- all you had to do was give it a slight push or tug and the suitcase rolled along gently with you!

Why is the rolling laptop backpack so popular? Surely, a laptop isn't as heavy as a bulky suitcase. While a laptop might not be as bulky, it can certainly be a difficult thing to lug around when you are moving in high gear. A laptop on its own can be quite heavy but it can be even worse when you are lugging around a load of extra accessories as well! Added to that is the fact that a laptop is not just any piece of luggage - not only is it an expensive piece of equipment, it usually holds a number of important documents on it. The last thing that you want is for it to be damaged in some way while your commute. A rolling backpack offers both speed and protection for your computer.

Check Your Wheels!

One of the most important parts of the rolling laptop backpack is the wheels. A huge disadvantage of opting for cheap rolling backpacks is that the wheels will give out on you, right when you least expect it. Some wheels tend to stick and you end up dragging the case behind you. In some cases, the wheels have actually fallen off! When choosing a good laptop bag, make sure you go for one that is of good quality. Check the wheels and make sure that the case is easy to navigate and control.

There is one thing that usually makes the on-the-go commuter stop dead in his tracks - the stairs. This is the one thing that can be difficult to navigate with a piece of rolling luggage. A good rolling laptop backpack should allow you to easily switch from rolling mode to using the handles or straps. You shouldn't have to fumble to put the telescopic handles in place or sling the backpack onto your shoulder- remember that convenience is key to using rolling luggage. If it's not easy to use, then it's not worth buying.

Apart from the wheels, you need to make sure that the laptop case as a whole has everything you need. Check the padding on the laptop case- some might offer a hard casing, which will protect your laptop from hits and knocks. Others might offer soft casing with lots of padding- these cases tend to be more flexible and can absorb the shock of sudden impact. Size is another factor to consider. You can easily find a rolling laptop backpack that will hold everything that your heart desires! If you prefer to travel light, there are bags that are designed to hold your laptop and a few basic accessories. In either case, make sure that your laptop can fit snugly inside and doesn't have room to get jostled around.

Remember that a rolling laptop backpack doesn't have to be a heavy carrying case. Most durable rolling backpacks tend to look heavier than they actually are. A good backpack should be easy to carry and be manageable when it's running on its wheels. There are a number of extras you can keep your eye out for as well- make sure that the shoulder strap is slip-proof. Most of them will have a specially-designed strap that not only has a good grip, but will absorb shock as well. A good laptop backpack will also be endorsed by the American Chiropractic Association- you can be sure that the laptop case will be easy on your back. Snugfit is another thing to look out for in laptop bags- this provides special protection for your laptop since it wraps and suspends it, thus making it less susceptible to damage from hits and knocks.

Always try the rolling laptop backpack before you buy it. Strap it on and see how heavy it is- remember that the bag will be weighed down by the laptop as well as other accessories. Take the backpack for a spin as well and test the wheels out- make sure you check out how easy it is to switch gears when you hit the stairs as well.
