"Dude! You're Getting A Dell."

Dell Inspiron Laptop

Dell Inspiron LaptopsThe Dell Inspiron Laptop is Dell's popular mainstream consumer laptop that it is offered in many different competitively priced configurations including 14.1, 15.4 and 17-inches.

Most Inspiron laptops include Intel's latest Dual Core processors but value configurations also exist powered by Intel's budget Celeron processor. The Inspiron line in our opinion offers a lifestyle match for most anyone.

A cool Inspiron feature is the available option to choose a custom colored or patterned laptop top cover. All of us here at Laptop-Computer-Comparison.com agree this feature is pretty darn sweet being that most people like to customize their belongings in some way or another. Because the Inspiron is fairly mainstream, adding this option was a nice refresh to the Inspiron line and a nice decision on Dell's part.

To take laptop customization up another level, Dell even has a website called Skinit which offers jazzy stick-on laptop covers called skins. You even have the option to create your own with your favorite photo if you so desire.

In our opinion Dell Inspiron laptops are very versatile machines and we highly recommend that you check them out. They are competitively priced, offer plenty of configuration options, and carry solid style to boot.

We hope you enjoyed our Inspiron Dell laptop review.

Dell XPS Laptop

Dell XPS Laptop Picture

Dell XPS laptops are a step above the Inspiron laptops when it comes to features, performance, and style.

For some potential laptop buyers the extra bells are whistles won’t justify the higher price premium, though for others the stylish designs, built-in webcam & microphone, finger print reader, and pre-installed Adobe video & photo editing software may just sell the ticket.

The 20-inch behemoth Dell XPS M2010 model even comes with 7.1 surround sound and a subwoofer.

If you are looking for something smaller than the Dell Inspiron’s 14.1 inch laptop offering, the XPS line of laptops also offer a 13.3-inch laptop that ways less than 4 pounds and claims to get up to 7 hours of battery life with the optional 9-cell battery. Not bad we say. Overall, the Dell XPS laptops come in 13.3, 15.4, 17, and 20-inch flavors.

In our opinion, the XPS laptops are worth checking out if you want or need something smaller than 14.1 inches, or simply want a laptop with extra flair. As long as you don’t mind paying the price premium over Inspiron notebooks, you may want to check out the XPS.

We hope you enjoyed our XPS Dell laptop review.

Dell XPS Gaming Laptop

Dell XPS Gaming Laptop PictureDell XPS gaming laptops are for the hardcore gamer, laptop computer enthusiast, or graphic professional looking for extreme computing horsepower for work and play.

Dell XPS gaming laptops come with only the most powerful specifications including high-end Intel Core 2 Duo and Duo Extreme processors, high-end Nvidia Geforce graphics cards in single and dual-card (SLI) configurations, high resolution full HD 1080p laptop screens, 16-color programmable external light accents for external style and flair, a built-in webcam, and much more.

Here at Laptop-Computer-Comparison.com we have to agree with other Dell laptop review sites, that Dell XPS gaming laptops are hardcore computing machines. Our test laptop ran through our tests like a hot knife through butter.

In our opinion however the XPS gaming laptop is only worth the clams if you are a hardcore gamer with cash to spare.

We hope you enjoyed our XPS gaming Dell laptop review.

Dell Latitude Laptop

Dell Latitude computersThe Latitude is a popular Dell laptop designed for businesses. Specifically large business environments using a complex network server infrastructure.

On the other hand Latitudes are also very well tailored for the small business environment respectively. We personally think of the Latitude as the business version of the consumer Inspiron line because of some similarities even though they are in fact they are very different.

First and foremost the Latitude is built for networked business environments and thus they lack Inspiron consumer features such as custom color options and pre-installed consumer software packages among other things.

Latitude laptops also include business features such as an optional fingerprint reader, smart card readers, interchangeable parts and docking station capability, sturdy magnesium-alloy shells for extra durability, latest generation wireless including built-in mobile broadband cards from AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Sprint and more. The Latitude was definitely designed with the busy mobile professional in mind.

 Latitude XFR Fully Ruggedized

dell laptop review latitude xfr fully ruggedized
Latitude laptops come in 12.1, 14.1, 15, and 15.4-inch sizes and battery life is very good across the whole Latitude line.

The 12-inch model’s start out at only 3 lbs. which will spare you from yearly chiropractic visits if you are always on the run.  The larger 15.4-inch laptops on the other hand are fairly hefty.

We really feel that Dell has done a great job with providing plenty of options for businesses.

In fact the Latitude line also includes the Latitude XFR fully ruggedized model which is as durable as they come.

The XFR actually exceeds the strict military standard for extreme temperatures, shock/drop, moisture, altitude and more.  The Latitude XFR is very similar to Panasonic's Toughbook line which you may be more familiar with from television commercials.

Overall Dell Latitude laptops are perfect if you are looking for a robust do all business class laptop.  While they lack the Inspiron's visual appeal and other consumer features because of their business designed nature, they are no doubt a straight forward business designed machine and a worthy contender in the business class laptop market.

We hope you enjoyed our Latitude Dell laptop review.

Dell Vostro Laptop

Dell laptop review pictures dell vostro laptop front view

The Dell Vostro is a newer business class notebook specifically designed to meet the needs of small businesses.

Similar to the Latitude it also lacks consumer laptop features such as custom color options and pre-installed consumer Trialware software packages among other things.

Standard features across the entire line include multiple high-speed USB 2.0 ports and a digital media reader among other standard features.

Vostro laptops also have a sealed keyboard to protect your investment from dust or the accidental spill. This addition definitely ups the anti for durability during the daily business grind.

Like all Dell laptops screen size options are plentiful.  As of this writing you can pick up a Dell Vostro system with a 14.1, 15.4, 17, or a newer compact 13.3-inch screen.  You can even choose whether to go with a glossy or non-glossy.

Screens can also be driven with powerful NVIDIA GeForce graphics chips if configured to meet various higher level business graphics demands such as light CAD duties even.

We personally liked the Apple Mac like slot-loading optical drive on the smaller Vostro 1310 laptops and the various optional features available across the entire Vostro line are very favorable.

Optional features include a webcam with a built-in microphone for video conferencing, the newer Wireless-N Wi-Fi standard for the ultimate in wireless performance, Bluetooth for wire free connectivity to a number of high tech business gadgets such as a Smartphone, PDA, pointer, mouse or keyboard, and more.

Battery life was also exceptional during our daily on the go activities using the Vostro 1310 and the Vostro 1510.  While we didn’t get a chance to tinker with the Vostro 1400 or 1700, we performed a bit of research and looks like they also get great battery life.

During the entire Dell laptop review we were all in fact surprised how long the 15.4-inch Vostro 1510 lasted when using a 9-cell battery.  We watched the entire move The Hulk and had battery juice to spare.  Not bad, not bad at all!

At the end of our Vostro Dell laptop review we all came to the conclusion that Vostro laptops are indeed well rounded business class machines.  Features and configuration options are plentiful and price wise the Vostro is highly flexible too.

If you’re looking for a do all laptop to handle your small business needs we highly recommend you check out the Dell Vostro during your laptop quest.

We hope you enjoyed our Vostro Dell laptop review.
